Filthy Rich Businesses

It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. Entrepreneur.com has an interesting article about making money from getting dirty. These are businesses that aren't exactly pretty, but the owners have a nice niche and are taking advantage of the profits that go along with it.

Jay Villemarette cleans skeletons--mostly animal and human skulls--for a living. He owns Skulls Unlimited International and insists there's never a dull moment at the office. Another business that I've seen on The Learning Channel, or one of those places was a guy that cleaned up after the dead. The show followed him as he cleaned up after dead bodies when the police had already gone. AIDs victims, murder victims, etc. This is all work that the homeowner was typically responsible for, but the problem with disease made it a bad idea for them to clean it up. Many times they were contacted by authorities to do the claen ups. Others have used the deceased's Death insurance to cop the bill.
