March Madness is here, so go ahead and goof off?

The tourney has been going on for a week now and many seem to think that employees are screwing around more everyday during this time looking at their brackets every 15 minutes. Some studies claim that workers are going to cost employers billions during the tournament due to loss of productivity. Let me just say that this is nonsense. Workers that have computers waste time everyday looking at sports news and any other things they want to do on the web. Is March Madness really that much different and cause that much less productivity than any other time of the year? I would ahve to respectufully disagree. Take a look at the two sides of the argument in this article from USA Today about the situation.
