Moving to Boise? Idaho?

You are going to need a place to live. Seems that people are moving to Boise in droves recently and Boise real estate is a hot commodity.

About Boise :

Boise is the heart of Idaho's Boise-Nampa metro. For a variety of reasons, including low cost of doing business, a central location and a high quality of life, Boise has become home to many large businesses and corporate headquarters. Some examples include Hewlett-Packard, Boise Cascade, Albertson's and Micron Technology. These ample employment opportunities only add to the appeal of Boise living.

Boise never seemed like a place I would consider living, but after speaking to a couple of friends there it seems like it is moving in a much better direction than my current residence. Mainly they actually have businesses moving in, while here in Michigan we seem to have businesses clamoring to get out. Unemployment seems to be an ugly trend here, but Fortune Magazine rated Boise as Number 1 on its 2005 list of Best Places for Business and Careers. If that isn't impressive to someone living in a low employment place I don't know what is. As a college graduate I find it more and more difficult to find great opportunities where I live now so I tend to follow what is going on around America in the career scene. Boise has just moved way up my list. Just a place to think about :).

Another Hogzilla caught near Atlanta

Damn hunters. That thing would have made a hell of a pet. I bet it would keep more people away than his mangy mutt would. Some people just have no sense of oddity.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. - A giant wild hog boasted to be bigger than the near-mythical "Hogzilla" caught in southern Georgia a few years ago has been killed in a suburban Atlanta neighborhood.

The hog hung snout down from a tree Friday in William Coursey's front yard, not far from where the avid hunter said he shot the beast. He said he hauled it to a truck weight station, which recorded the hairy hog at 1,100 pounds.

The Department of Natural Resources did not know whether the hog was a record for the state. "We don't keep records on hogs," said Melissa Cummings of the DNR's public affairs department.

But Coursey believes his behemoth surpasses the famed super swine shot and killed in 2004 that weighed in at half a ton on the farm's scales. A team of National Geographic experts later confirmed "Hogzilla" didn't quite live up to the 1,000-pound, 12-foot hype, saying the beast was probably 7 1/2 to 8 feet long, and weighed about 800 pounds.

The news of Coursey's kill got people are talking about the enormous beasts that roam the state.

"Nobody keeps official records," said Daryl Kirby, an editor with Georgia Outdoor News. "But it's one heck of a hog."

QuickBooks Bookkeeping

Having employees is great, but not having someone do your payroll and other bookkeeping for you is a real hassle. I've done it myself before and believe me if anyone can screw that up it is me when I have so many other things to worry about within the business. I always try to save a few bucks by cutting expenses, but I just found that keeping the books myself was a lost cause. It just took WAY too much time for me that I could be spending with my family or having a social life.

So I finally decided to get someone else to do my bookkeeping for small business work. I found that the relative cost wasn't even that bad. Compared to putting in a bunch of extra hours getting someone to do QuickBooks for me was the way to go. Wouldn't have it any other way now.

Accounting Paradise has deals that are great for any small business. The site itself is easy to navigate with an easy 1-2-3 set up. With resources for accounting news to help you there isn't really any other place you need to go. A few videos to help you understand their services are available as well as detailed information in written form about their services. There is even an Accounting and Payroll blog to keep you up to date on any changes as well as to get some very useful tips to keep your business running smoothly. Take a look at what they offer today.

Keep people out of wash, label warns

I love reading warning labels. Some of the funniest things you see on a daily basis are on them. This story is a pretty good one. LOL@"Don't clean your kids in the washing machine."

DETROIT - Don't clean your kids in the washing machine. Don't dry your cell phone in the microwave. And be sure not to read the phone book while driving. Those are among the winning entries in this year's Wacky Warning Label Contest, run by an anti-lawsuit group.

Backers of the right to sue have a warning of their own - don't be so quick to poke fun at labels, which help save lives. They say the contest is part of an effort to pass laws that shield businesses from liability for those they hurt.

The Wacky Warning contest winners were chosen from about 150 nominations received by Michigan Lawsuit Abuse Watch, said the group's president, Robert B. Dorigo Jones. The group picked five finalists, and callers to WOMC-FM's Dick Purtan show chose the winners.

The top vote-getter was a warning tag from a front-load washing machine.

"DO NOT put any person in this washer," it read.

Discuss Weightlifting and Exercise

I've lifted weights for years in various forms. Either through just plain freestyle or with the Nautalis machines at the gym. I have a Bowflex at home and am planning to buy an Elliptical training machine for my aerobic workouts.

I'm really just not getting into the whole work out thing lately so i decided to look for a couple of forums and/or message boards to possibly get me motivated. I was able to find a pretty nice muscle forum about exercise and weightlifting that gives me some good ideas as to how to keep myself motivated, machines and exercises I may wnat to try, as well as just talk to others about working out.

I guess if I actually get back to where I want to be I can post some pics of my body and brag about how cut I am, but I don't think that will be for a while...lol

There are just many helpful posters there to get you to light a fire under you and get your body the way you always wanted it. HAve fun and let everyone know what you do to keep yourself in shape and looking good. I'm sure someone there might even be able to help you with better solutions to your exercise regimen.

Mysterious object crashes through roof

Stuff falls into my house all the time. No one comes to my house and investigates. I wish someone would come get this big metal disc out of my driveway. I got it off the roof, but it's just to heavy to move with out the slope.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Authorities were trying to identify a mysterious metallic object that crashed through the roof of a house in eastern New Jersey.

Nobody was injured when the golf-ball sized object, weighing nearly as much as a can of soup, struck the home and embedded itself in a wall Tuesday night. Federal officials sent to the scene said it was not from an aircraft.

The rough-surfaced object, with a metallic glint, was displayed Wednesday by police.

Discuss Your Biker Stunts

Are you a pretty big fan of seeing people doing amazing stunts? Nothing better than seeing a guy take a head plant after trying an insane stunt really. Someone pulling off a stunt is just as rewarding though too. I've seen plenty of impressive stunts and want to see more.

stuntlife.com is dedicated to wild stories and provocative pictures of riders in action. On top of that you can get advice from other fellow riders about what you should get, how to make your bike better, or just discuss some amazing stunts.

As television shows such as Jackass become more and more prevalent there are becoming more and more people out there that want to see and discuss these feats. This forum has these people, but they don't just discuss stunts, they do them.

Take a bit of time and browse through the forum until you are comfortable. Then join and get access to more discussion as well as the ability to ask questions, brag about your feats, and make some friends that love the same things you do. At least most of these guys can keep up with your extreme lifestyle and maybe even one up you and present you with future challenges.

Suspected mouse remains found in beans

Ugh...this is disgusting. If you love green beans you probably don't want to look at this story. You'll never want to eat them or anything like them again.

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. - No child became sick, but the thought of finding mouse remains in cooked green beans at a preschool lunch has officials feeling ill.

About half of the Oak Ridge Preschool's 206 students had been served Wednesday when a teacher distributing the meals spotted suspected rodent remains.

Philadelphia-based Aramark Corp., which provides food service management to Oak Ridge and more than 420 other public and private school systems around the country, was investigating, spokeswoman Karen Cutler said Thursday.

"The object has not been identified. There is no confirmation of what the object is until it is tested," Cutler said, noting that the local health department considered the health risk so minor "they declined to come out. They are not going to take any samples or anything."
