I'm a Poker Freak

My friends and I play poker a lot. My buddy has a couple poker tables of high quality that we play on and it is great. We have the chips and the whole deal when we play. Everything is so much easier this way and everyone has a better time. Cards don't slide off the table, chips don't roll off. Until you use one you probably don't know what you are missing, but I'm here to tell you that it is one of the best things you will buy if you play a lot of cards.

Man wins $25,000 lottery two days in row

Please let me win the lotto 1 day in a row. I'll settle for that if it is the Mega Millions...haha. I'd take $25K too, but the $106 Million jackpot the other day would be more up my alley...lol The funny thing is that I never buy lottery tickets. I never really have, but the night before that drawing I had a dream that I won $125,800 in the lotto. So I figured it must be some sort of sub conscious miracle telling me to buy a ticket. I didn't match any numbers.

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. - An airline pilot from Maplewood won a $25,000 lottery jackpot - two days in a row. Raymond Snouffer Jr. matched the winning numbers 11-14-23-26-31 to win Saturday's Northstar Cash drawing with odds of about 170,000 to 1, Minnesota Lottery officials said.

On Sunday, Snouffer stuck with 11 and switched to 3-7-19-28 - and won again.

Lottery officials said such a sequence was so farfetched that the odds against it were "virtually incalculable."

Review My Post Affiliate Program

Along with the new segmentation that PayPerPost has laid out they have added another excellent affiliate program to our blogging arsenal. The introduction of the “Review My Post” program has everyone excited. The button at the bottom of my post is the key to getting paid to blogging about my post. If you see that badge at the end of a post all you have to do is click it and you can get $7.50 just for writing a review of the post the badge was in. What are you waiting for? Click that sucker and make some fast cash.

Still reading, eh? Maybe you don’t want to put a paid post on your blog. That is understandable I guess. Everyone has their own idea of how to run a blog the right way. Why not take advantage of the affiliate program anyways? It Is as simple as placing the badge in YOUR posts and letting people review your posts instead of reviewing mine. This will give you a referral fee of $7.50 for just having the banner on your site. The review of your post will include a link to your post and bring more blog traffic your way. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me just for posting a little badge in your posts. Now you should really be on your way over to PPP to get started on this program.

Get paid to review my post, or get paid to have someone review yours. Simple. You may even find that you can make a ton of money doing ads for advertisers as well.

What I Did for Valentine's Day

Ladies and gentlemen I fulfilled the dream of Peter from Office Space and did nothing. For the first time in I don't know how many years I was no required to purchase a gift, come up with a super plan of romance, nor even have to acknowledge the Hallmark holiday. Sadly enough, I didn't get laid either so I did learn one important lesson. No matter how tired, or unmotivated I am to go out and do something on Valentine's Day when I am single it is imperitive that I do so. It's just one of those days where people want to be loved, and I'm just the man with the BS degree to pour it on.

Give an eCard when no one expects it

Valentine's Day has come and gone. If you blew it and didn't get one of these eCards to your significant other I feel sorry for you today...lol

Not all is lost though. Egreetings.com has plenty of other free funny eCards that you can send out for every occasion you can imagine. Send something to cheer someone up today. I know in the Midwest here it is pretty depressing with how cold it is outside and the snow that won't go away. It may be the day after Valentine's Day, but everyday is a good day to let someone know you are thinking of them. Doing it the day after a holiday for no reason at all would probably win you some points with someone ;).

N.M. orders 500 talking urinal cakes

Who is the genius that thought this idea was going to work? Not only are people going to laugh their butts off when they hear these messages, but every single one of these things is going to get ripped off within an hour of them being put in the urinals. Hopefully the guy that invented these got a good contract before these suckers find out that this is one of those ideas taxpayers aren't real happy about.

SANTA FE, N.M. - New Mexico is taking its fight against drunken driving to men's restrooms around the state. The state has ordered 500 talking urinal cakes that will deliver a recorded anti-DWI message to bar and restaurant patrons who make one last pit stop before getting behind the wheel.

"Hey there, big guy. Having a few drinks?" a female voice says a few seconds after an approaching male sets off a motion sensor in the device. "It's time to call a cab or ask a sober friend for a ride home."

PayPerPost New Segmentation

Well…PayPerPost has stayed a head of the competition once again by rolling out a whole slew of benefits for bloggers and advertisers. With the release of segmentation they are hoping to lure some of the highest traffic bloggers on the web by paying out big money to have ads placed on their sites. If a blogger has a very high traffic blog they could make as much as $1000 for a single post on their blogs.

With all the services available to make money blogging, PPP is still way a head of the pack. The sheer number of options that they offer advertisers in segmentation is by far the best in the business. The blogger community is of much higher quality and there are many more of us around than any of the other companies can provide. On top of that PPP has some of the most competitive rates for their advertisers with a 35% service fee, while others have fees of up to 100%.

PPP has been a leader in bringing disclosure to paid blogging thus far and is making it even easier for advertisers and bloggers to maintain this policy. Advertisers can choose to have a disclosure badge in the post, or not, but PPP blogs all have disclosure on their sites already.

Batman sighting puts schools on lockdown

Uhm...yeah...OK. So the school shut down becasue a guy in a Batman costume ran acrossed the yard, didn't bother anyone, didn't show any skin, and just ran away. Glad to see we are so amused in this country by weirdos. Glad to see we are so amused that schools shut down to talk about comic book characters running acrossed our playgrounds. Awesome.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - To an Arizona middle school, Batman! Three schools in the north Phoenix suburb of Cave Creek were on lockdown for about 45 minutes Wednesday morning after a student at Desert Arroyo Middle School reported seeing a person dressed as Batman run across campus, jump a fence and disappear into the desert, Scottsdale police Sgt. Mark Clark said.

The student described the person as 6 feet 3 inches tall and possibly male.

"We're assuming it was male, although they did have a mask on," Clark said.

Organizing Your Collectibles

Here’s an interesting concept. iTaggit.com is a web-based item management system that allows you to store your Collectibles online in their own little space. With your collectibles online it draws others with similar interests to check out your stuff, or help you find other stuff. Registration is free and you can get to organizing your antiques, baseball cards, and anything else right away online.

I have actually found some pretty neat stuff on there just browsing around. There is everything on there, and I mean everything. From collectible action figures to amazing pieces of art there isn't much that you can't find. Check it out yourself.

The History Channel

I don't know why I have cable anymore really. I suppose it is for sports, but when I'm not watching sports the only channel I think I even watch is the History Channel. I think I have seen every show they have ever made and know more about Hitler than he did when he was alive. Either way, I love it. Watching some Dogfights right now while I post. Thought this show would be kind of weak, but I've watched a couple today and theya re really cool. With the computer animation and recreation of the actual dog fights it is pretty interesting.

How to Relieve Joint Pain

Dr. Allen Gustafson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon renowned for his experience, skill, and accomplishments in joint replacement and reconstruction. Relieving Joint Pain, joint replacement, and reconstruction are all specialties of his and his site gives fantastic information about all his services. If you are a patient and sign up with an account online you can get access to make appointments, fill out your pre-visit paperwork, check the doctor’s schedule, and even refill prescriptions online. Easy and quick.

Though the site is very helpful from the logistics standpoint I don't want to forget about the library of information you can find there. In the "Patient Library" you can find reports on various joint conditions, treatments, and photos to understand your conditions specifically.

Foot found at Va. landfill is apelike

Any time some sort of unknown body part of an animal is found I tend to take a bit of interest. New species, long losts species, etc. are always interesting to me. This story doesn't give me much to go on as to what they think the foot is, but hopefully I can dig up some moore info aobut this story later.

SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. - A foot fished from a landfill was not the human variety. Cleaned and X-rayed, the appendage was determined to be apelike, authorities said Monday.

The discovery Saturday prompted a search through 127 tons of garbage, which ended following the medical analysis of the foot at the state forensics lab in Richmond.

"The good news is that we don't have a homicide," Spotsylvania Sheriff Howard Smith said.
