100 Year in Business and Finally a Franchise 500 Company

A franchise lasting 100 years alone is a huge accomplishment. A pizza company even more so and we aren't talking about Pizza Hut, Dominos, or Papa Johns here.

It only took 100 years or so, but the Rosati family has finally broken into the Franchise 500©. It's an honor that would probably please--and likely confuse--Saverio "Sam" Rosati, who began serving pizza at his Italian restaurant in Chicago near the turn of the 20th century. In 1964, his children took his old-world recipes and opened Rosati's, one of the first pizza joints to offer delivery, and a local legend was born.

The Rosati franchise is the oldest surviving pizza joint in the U.S. While the original owner isn't exactly around today, the family is still the biggest asset and marketing bonus that they have. Surely the residential treatment of the family is top notch.

Top 10 Franchises of 2013

You know what I hate? Slideshows. The internet has discovered that making article lists into slideshows gives them a new pageview for every click to the next level of the list. Adding another opportunity to get a new ad up, and another page view to sell to advertisers. For the webmaster this certainly makes some sense, but how many times have you stopped using a website due to the overbearing amount of slideshow articles? I know I have.

So...without further a do...Here the top 10 franchises of 2013 is stuffed into of course a SLIDESHOW. Which of them are in need of laboratory ovens do you think?

Otterbox Commuter Cases for iPhone 5

While we all love our Apple handheld devices like the iPhone, iPod, and iPad, we all know that it has one major issue. It doesn't like to be naked. The materials are so shiney and nice looking that you want to have it out there, but just putting one of them into a pocket with nothing else seems like it will scratch the surface. My iPod Touch has been inside a rubberized case since the day I got it. With a clear screen over the screen to keep it from scratching. Really it is a curse and a blessing that they look so shiny. It's just part of owning one. You have to protect it so it doesn't look like you are a child with no ability to take care of things.

While I got a plain black rubber case I have since looked for much more stylish designs. for the iPhone. Not much better than the Otterbox Commuter iPhone 5 case. Colors and design look just as cool as going bare. Covers the screen and looks sleek as well.

Earning Your Employee's Respect

While every business has a different kind of employee, there may be some things that an employer can do to help earn more respect from them. A group of manual labor people vs. the white collar office people having the same needs aren't typically in line, but there are still ways to impress them all, or at least make them not hate you other than setting up playground equipment richmond va for their kids and free daycare right?

This story is probably a bit more unique in today's world since most people don't stick around any company long enough to work all the way up. This story doesn't really happen anymore. Companies either don't last long enough, or they simply don't have anywhere to go from the bottom up. They would rather hire young college kids for cheap than keep promoting a guy for 20 years. anyways, check out the story either way.

Chemical M&A Advisory and Investment Banking

Advisory in mergers & acquisitions usually works better when you go with a company that specializes in the sector that you are trying to make the deal in. Take chemical investment banking for instance. If you are looking for chemical m&a advisory shouldn't you be working with a company that focuses solely on chemicals, materials and related sectors? Of course you should.

While the process of M&A's is similar throughout, every sector has its own special needs that only a firm that specializes in the sector will be able to help you get the most professional deal done. With chemical m&a deals you really need to find a firm that works solely in chemicals and materials. One that has worked on both the client and the advisory side of the deal. A firm that specializes in the sector and knows all the ins and outs that you would as a chemical company, but also knows the investment banking side and how they work with those chemical corporations.

On top of needing industry specific advisors, clients need a global chemical M&A advisory firm. Having offices in the major global continents of North America, Europe, and Asia ensures that the firm knows the ins and outs of the chemical industry on an international level. This is incredibly important when doing chemical mergers and acquisitions obviously, because laws are not universally the same all over the world.

5 Relaxing Apps to Relieve Stress

If you have to spend part of your day reading dexilant reviews at Treato.com to deal with your heartburn of running a business maybe you can check out some of these relaxing apps to help calm the nerves.

If you are like most people, you are basically plugged in for the majority of your day and you have some sort of smart phone, or iPad attached to your hand all day. Running business through it, making contacts, making updates to your websites, etc. You are always online, and you are always working.

Of course with the Apple Store and the many other App stores for your Android, or any other smart phone you use there is a niche in the market for stress relief apps. While you may need them for helping to relive stress does it not make you think about ho to make an app for stress relief yourself to make some more money? I know I always do when I see something in a niche like this. Of course my use of apps has died down a great deal over the past 6 months, or so. I typically only by games anyways, but I have definitely stopped looking into them frequently like i used to.

Anyways, what apps are good for stress relief? Take a look at these 5 stress reliving apps. They are all available in the iTunes Apple Store, and I think most are available for Android as well.

5 Things That Belong on the Front of Your Company Website

Figuring out how exactly to make your front page the most useful as possible can be troubling for many. Sometimes you go to websites and there is just way too much clutter. Just every single thing someone can think of is there. For some places this isn't a big deal. It may even be necessary. For others it is distracting and completely taking away from the purpose. Does a car website really need things like sunsout puzzles on its front page? Of course not. Of course not having what you need there is also a negative.

Here's a list of 5 tips for making your front page the page that will make you the most money. That is the goal here BTW.

Twitter Profile Page Redesign and Branding Opportunities

One of our major marketing sources now are certainly the followers we have on Twitter. For many Twitter is a way of life, but for most like me we tend to use Twitter for something a little less social. I use Twitter mainly for sports news and follow all my guys to get fast and easy access to the most up to date news on all my sports teams, my fantasy football and baseball players, and there is nowhere else I can get that faster. That includes Google news I might add.

That doesn't mean I don't run into the random profile page either. The way Twitter is so goofy with their discussion threads I tend to have to jump to profile pages quite often just to find the rest of the discussion. With that in mind you may see some markeitng even by accident that will catch your eye.

With the new design there are even more profile branding opportunities. Check out these ideas on how to use them.

"Entrepreneur 2012" Finalists

I always wonder if anyone that actually is a finalist in a contest such as this even cares about winning it. What exactly makes them the winner anyways? If they are even in the contest they likely had a hell of a year financially anyways so it certainly wasn't hurting them to lose this in any way either. Free publicity of course is really why you'd want to be in i. Entrepreneur.com does this every year, and they have narrowed 2012 down to their final 4. Interesting group. One of them has pink hair. Would probably look good in this military shirt I would say. read more (with video).

Under-30 High Earning Entrepreneurs

If you are still struggling to make it big in your own business, doesn't it always fuel a bit of jealousy when you see a bunch of millionaires in business under the age of 30 that already hit it big? I mean it is nice to see obviously, but sometimes you definitely wish you got there that soon right? I know I have. Took me a lot longer to "grow up" though that's for sure. Spent too much time enjoying my youth doing things that go against production, rather than working for an early retirement. While you sit there thinking about your pc tune up you can take a break and read about some of the young millionaire entrepreneurs and maybe they can spark you to get back on the horse. Take a look.

Why Microsoft's New Logo is a Failure

While it is still the same 4 colored square it just doesn't have any pizzazz anymore does it? It looks like a boring stuffy corporate machine, or a bank logo doesn't it? It used to be similar, but it was tilted and had waves in it. Now it's just a SQUARE of 4 SQUARES. Completely boring. The logo for dickies scrubs seems more exciting than this does and this company is supposed to be an innovator in a fast based technology field.
Among those who think Microsoft's new logo leaves a lot to be desired is longtime graphic designer John Williams, founder of Nashville, Tenn.-based do-it-yourself logo-creation website LogoGarden.com. Here, Williams explains how he thinks Microsoft dropped the ball with its new design and offers advice on how the rest of us can create better company logos. His take

Be the Tough Boss, but NOT the Jerk

Being the boss and being popular is rarely an option. Your employees have their own issues at times and consider your interference, or demands to be against their own desires most of the time. Having to go boss around a guy in packaging for shipping when you sit in a corner office all day doesn't usually make them happy to see you. Obviously you run into a large range of employees from the butt kisser to the "I'm smarter than you" types. Doesn't mean you have to be a complete jerk to everyone to get them to listen, or even gain respect. So how do you get things done without being a jerk of a boss? Here are some tips to make your employees feel like you aren't a slave driver and that you recognize what they do.

Kanstul Trumpets

Man...this takes me back. I remember when I was in maybe the 3rd or 4th grade and fresh off our magical instruments the recorder. I wanted to join the band and play the saxophone, but of course since i was late to the party the music instructor told me that I couldn't play it! Instead he made me take on the not the awesome kanstul trumpets, but I was told to learn the cornet. I thought it was just some beginner trumpet for the longest time. Well that lasted a few months and then I gave up on it in favor of playing the electric keyboard and guitar.

9 Routine Tasks That Ruin Your Work Day

These may all be sort of common sense, but that doesn't mean you don't fall into the the same traps. So many things get in the way when you have to deal with employees and you aren't as orgnanized as you think you are. Wasting time you don't have, setting too many tasks to be done in a day, or simply just making things chaotic for no reason at all. Rachel Weeks couldn't get through the workday without constant interruptions. Employees at her Durham, N.C., apparel company, School House, would ask her to sign checks, approve designs and field questions whenever they wanted. No she didn't put up crowd control barriers. Realizing that routine tasks were taking over her day, she started signing checks once a week, sending out packages at a set time each day, and addressing staff questions at weekly meetings. Here are 9 tips she can give for helping you focus.

Low-cost Local Marketing Ideas

Marketing locally isn't the same all over. Demographics are certainly different, but the resources available locally tend to be fairly similar. Different sized cities, and even smaller towns have a much different style to market your business. You have a much better niche in smaller areas most of the time so marketing isn't typically much of a problem when you are the only game in town. Doesn't mean there aren't some great ways to increase sales even in a small town either. Networking with other businesses is always a great way to cross-promote. In cities in smaller areas going out and partnering is even a bigger deal. There is a much larger customer pool to get to. Not like say in a town of 10,000 and you are the only one selling dental malpractice insurance in the area. Here are 5 ideas.

What are Successful Entrepreneurs Reading?

While I spend a ton of time reading all sorts of things, many entrepreneurs are hardcore into just reading about business. I rarely read about it. I would rather read about science, or some philosophy of some sort I guess,b ut at times you have to read what will maybe help your business. So I like to see what millionaire entrepreneurs are recommending as things to read in between looking up business insurance from TechInsurance.com. Here are a few book recs from entrepreneurs.

Being a Part-time Entrepreneur

Not many people will tell you that you can run a business as a part-timer. You may hear that from the "Get rich quick" scams online about how you can make more working part-time than you can in a real job, but as a business owner working part-time is unheard of. Of course starting up, you may not have that luxury. So if you need to keep your job selling Cherokee uniforms just to pay the bills, but have a business idea you want to get rolling without funding, you may want to read this article. It gives some ideas on how to run a start up as a part-timer.

Better Networking for Young Entrepreneurs

If you need other people to help you thrive as a business, networking is a key component to running your business. As a younger business owner it might be a bit more difficult to tap into a network that can help you thrive. Getting trust from others at a younger age isn't always the easiest thing to do. So what do you need to do to ensure that your time spent is spent productively when attending events where your focus should be on networking rather than just staring at the flat panel mounts displays? Here are 6 Steps to Better Networking for Young Entrepreneurs.

Fertility Yoga?

Just had to note this niche business I saw on Entrepreneur.com due to never even considering such a thing, or ever hearing about it. Is this like baby shower games? A decade ago when Beth Heller and Tami Quinn opened Pulling Down the Moon in Chicago, "fertility yoga" was little-known. Today, they operate four centers in Illinois and one in Rockville, Md., offering a variety of services to women trying to get pregnant. “Never did we imagine that it would grow into a $1.3 million company,” Quinn says. To generate interest in their yoga classes, Heller and Quinn initially sent out marketing materials to area fertility doctors. As the customer base grew, so did the company’s holistic offerings, which now include acupuncture, nutritional counseling, Chinese herbal medicine and massages.

Postures to Produce Productivity?

I saw the headline of this article and clicked on it simply to see what it said. I was skeptical of course since really...how much is a posture going to effect your productivity? More, how is it not common sense that sitting a certain way is more productive? Obviously we're not going to slump down in our chairs and expect to be alert. Sitting back and smoking romeo y julieta 1875 cigars may help, but probably not allowed to. Anyways, take a look if you want just for the curiosity of it all. It's nothing mind blowing, but you may notice the list to be the things you do already and feel like you should be more productive...LOL

Tips For Ethical Employee Monitoring

I'm sure nobody wants to monitor their employees. Well...I'm sure some people want to, but most I would guess feel a bit of an ethical dilemma with it. Employees certainly feel it to be an invasion of privacy, and the typical response of "Big Brother" watching over them. In some cases employers deem it a necessary part of the gig. Monitoring their online activity is a bit different than putting up cameras by the coffee kiosks to see who stands there all day gossipping. So what are the ethical and legal aspects involved? This article discusses some tips in defining and deciding on your monitoring policies.

Facebook Going Public Tomorrow

Bet those guys at Myspace really wish they had a better business model eh? At $38 a share the company is looking at raising $16 Billion themselves and value at $104 billion. The 2nd largest U.S. IPO in history behind Visa in 2008. A more interesting note. U2 lead, Bono is a heavy hitter in the company and is looking at a bundling of $1.5 billion from the IPO. Making him the richest rock star in the world. This is an interesting story about his failures and finally success in the tech markets. Claiming that he was the worst investor in America at one point.

How to Protect Your Home if Your Business Gets Sued

HAving a business set up incorrectly could cost you...everything. Making sure that personal assets aren't on the table for a business that is getting their pants sued off is of top priority. You might not be able to keep your office's rustic coffee tables, but at least you will still ahve a place to hide from the weather if things go severely wrong. Here's a quick look at the basic concepts of keeping your personal assets when setting up your business. Making sure your family isn't left panhandling and actually has a home to kick you out of ;).

Mobile Gaming a Marketing Option?

Everyone has a smart phone, iPod, iPad, or something that plays mobile games on it now. Angry Birds, Tetris, Jetpack Joyride, etc. are real time killers for any time you need to wait for something, or have some "private time". They might even be wasting your employees' time while they are supposed to be working! What about getting into the game yourself and using them to make you money? Some business owners are jumping at the opportunity to use games to improve how they engage with customers and motivate their employees. Adding a game or game-type elements such as rewards and rankings -- a process commonly referred to as gamification -- can keep users active on your site longer and motivate them to share your content over social media. Know more about hem than you would with a gps vehicle tracking device in their car.

Be a better Tweeter for your business

Twitter is one of those websites that I just put off using forever. I always gave the lame excuse that it was silly, and pointless. Buying into the idea that it was just a bunch of idiots posting things that nobody cares about like their dinner, their new rolling racks, or the TV show they are watching. Then I realized that it is the best possible source of sports news that is available today, and I use it religiously now to get up to the second info. So...what does it do for business? How do your tweets actually make an impact? Try some of these tips for making better Tweets and see if you can benefit.

5 Baseball Books For Leisure

Baseball is a very unique sport. The history that revolves around it is just so rich that it really transcends the game itself. If you have ever had the pleasure of watching the fabulous documentary by Ken Burns, simply titled "Baseball", you know just how much baseball plays a role in U.S. Society. I could talk about baseball all day really, but I won't bore you :). Books about baseball can actually be more than just entertaining. Surely you've heard of Moneyball which was a feature film with Brad Pitt in it in the last year. While not exactly brimming with entrepreneurial tactics, it does discuss a bit of the business side of the game. Making the most out of a little. Baseball has many analogies that carry over into aspects of business and the rest of our lives. So...baseball books are surely on the level in this regard too. Here's 5...errr 4 baseball books worth checking out.

Handling Negative Online Reviews of Your Business

IT's really great to get your name out there on sites like "Yelp", "Yahoo!", "Google Business", etc. , but with it comes a price. Negative reviews. Many that aren't even legit complaints, but just plain rude for the sake of it. Not to mention the amount of times I have seen people give glowing reviews, yet still mark it by accident as a 1 star review out of 5 stars.

According to Boston-based strategy and communication agency Cone: "80 percent of consumers said they changed their minds about purchases based on negative information they found online."

That seems a bit high, but may not be that far off. I personally do a lot of research online for things I buy, or places I visit. Not typically for stores, or restaurants I go to "offline" since I don't live in a metropolis, and there just aren't that many places out there I haven't heard the real breakdown on already. For places like Amazon, or when I buy online though, these reviews are pretty important for me. Especially Amazon when I am buying something that has 4-5 different competitors for the same thing. Price might not be an issue, but those reviews steer me to the best one of the 5 most definitely. So if I see positive reviews when looking for flowers for our anniversary on a comparison site I will likely lean towards that store.

Waht can you do about it if you get bad reviews? Personally, I wouldn't want to list on places that didn't allow a business response to reviews. If it is a bad review with legit complaints I'd want to be able to "make it right" and take care of the customer. IF it was a BS complaint, I'd still want my say. Here's a few more tips.

You Want to Annoy People With Text Marketing?

I'm not sure about you, but this is one form of marketing I put absolutely no stock into. I won't even read a spam text if I get one no matter who it is from. Do others? Apparently so since text marketing is being used by many.

I get very few of these, but when I do it is nothing but an annoyance, and the first thing I think of is: "How the hell did this person get my number, and how to I prevent them from sending me more texts?".

Here's an article on how to use them effectively, but honestly, I don't think there is a way to market this way to me. Even if I were looking for some sweet Luminox watches, sending me pics of them is not likely to get me to go onto the website if it is sent to my phone.

Not only is it a hassle to get them, but not everyone has unlimited texting plans so getting a bunch of spam texts is something that could completely backfire for you. Others don't even have internet on their phones still (This is a lot more common than I think people realize). If I got a text and it cost me extra money due to it going over my text limit someone would be getting some serious wrath from me about it. Not just a phone call either. I'd make sure I spread the word about your marketing tactics. So...you still want to text market?

Avoiding Over-optimization For Search Engines?

You don't need to be a search engine expert to know that the higher you appear in Google, the better off you are with your website. That is if it isn't a bunch of links about how your company is a fraud anyways.

Entrepreneur.com is offering ways to not over-optimize, but the thing is, Google doesn't care that much about it unless you break their rules. These are things you should already know before you go out and try to optimize your site. These aren't "new" tricks to stay under the radar. These are the Google RULES. for how they want you to optimize your site.

Mostly it is one rule you need to know about how you run your website. CONTENT IS KING. Everything else is secondary. Google wants informative pages in their index. Not spammy junk that will be a waste of time for readers. If you want to buy say amish furniture the website should have it, and be well presented and easy to use. If it has that you can do pretty much whatever you want afterwards without going completely insane with it like say...running spam programs all over the place and auto-software.

The Top 10 Most Trusted Brands and Their Secrets to Success

They might not be the highest market shares in their respective industries for all of them, but they are definitely the most trusted and the ones that have the best advice. Amazon, Coke, Target, Ford, and Nike are among some of them.

Deals

The Author of this post is Solomon Dejesus

My husband does not think we need a security system. He mainly thinks this because he doesn't think we have the money to pay for it. But, I am saying we don't have the money to buy all new stuff because all of our nice things got stolen. I mean, I know that insurance covers some of it but I know it doesn't cover it all and you may not get the amount that you need to buy all of your electronics brand new again. I think they reimburse you for how much you spend on it when you bought it not how much it would be to buy it new right now. He just doesn't get it. I decided to look at some home security systems comparison and I found the one that we should get. It helps a little if I tell him how much other ones cost and then tell him the one that I want to get and how much cheaper it is than all the others! I usually have to butter him up in this way for whatever purchase I am wanting to make. You should see me when I am planning a vacation! I have to pick a hotel that is double what we can pay and then he feels good when I go with the cheaper one!

50 Blog Post Ideas For a Business Blog

Blogs are great at forming your own image online. Not only do they offer a lot of search engine juice, but they offer a way for you to shape the way you appear in search engines as well. Besides the search engine factor, they give you a forum to let your customers know exactly what your views are, what you are working on (Like a sale on cheap scrubs), and to show your business as a community leader and respectable.

Unfortunately, many business owners aren't good writers. They also aren't very good and figuring out what exactly they even should be posting about on their company blogs. They may have a hard time figuring out when and what to post as well. Here are 50 blog post ideas for your business to help you out.

Pinterest: Next Social Media Marketing Heaven

Never heard of it? Neither did I a couple weeks ago. In September it registered 1.6 million new users. In December it registered 7 million unique users. Nice growth eh?

Pinterest, an online bulletin board for your favorite images, launched in 2010 and is already experiencing wild growth. And it's driving more traffic to company websites and blogs than YouTube, Google+ and LinkedIn combined, according to a recent report from Cambridge, Mass.-based content-sharing site Shareaholic.

Yeah...I don't know much about it, but you should probably go check out what you can market with it at least right? Never too early to jump on a bandwagon. Just look at all the fans on the Anthony Lin bandwagon after having about 6 good career games. May as well get your spyder jackets too while you are at it.

JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

Content by Kyle Lowe

I logged onto http://www.directstartv.com/localchannels/New-York/Y/Yonkers/ to get television service for our new home in Yonkers, New York. We have lived in Yonkers for about five years after relocating from Boston for my husband’s jobs. Last year, when we had our second child, we decided that it was time to upgrade and that we needed some more space. I didn’t want the kids to have to share a bedroom as they grew up. We are really excited about our new place and will be able to spend Christmas there this year. After the television installation, there are only a few other things that need to be done until the house is completely move-in ready and ready for us to move in next week. The only part that I am not looking forward to is the actual physical move. Last time we moved, the movers broke a lot of our things, needless to say, we are definitely using different movers this time. I am hoping that everything runs smoothly. Keep your fingers crossed that everything is wrapped up tight!

Penny Stocks

Penny stocks have always been something I wanted to dip my hand into. I have a background in finance and trading somewhat so I am aware of them and certainly know some of the base concepts of trading penny stocks, but I also know I am not even close to knowing the ins and outs necessary to make some real cash with them.

Penny stocks are something you prepare for like any other investment. Of course they aren't as highly publicized, nor do they have as many talking heads out there with advice on what the
hot penny stocks are. The reason is that these aren't exactly Dow Jones Industrial Average sized companies. There is a reason they are just penny stocks.

On the other hand...a move in a penny stock is one heck of a percentage gain when it does move. The smaller the value of the stock the higher the percentage is when it actually moves. Good and bad. That's why you better figure out what you are doing before you jump into the ring with them. I suggest a site like http://www.buypennystocks.com/. They give you all the background info not just how to invest in penny stocks, but they go much deeper and keep you ready to make a killing in the market with hot penny stocks to watch, great tips, and much more. If interested in dabbling in this lucrative investment market look no further and get stared there.

Should You Be Advertising on Facebook?

LEt's stick with Facebook today. One thing that a lot of business owners don't understand is their advertising. Most small business owners have a difficult time knowing exactly how to target their customers. They many times don't know their perfect marketplace to advertise. Instead they just start taking stabs in the dark to anyone that sounds like they have a good pitch and payoff. This rarely works.

Obviously the ad sellers are going to have their own interests at heart. Their pitch may be completely oblivious to your needs. Instead pitching general advertising ideas that don't fit your needs. They don't know your business so they can't be expected to have the best plan for you without you directing it a little right?

Then we have the grand old world of online advertising. More specifically social media, and Facebook advertising. You may have some sort of presence on Facebook, but why the hell are you even advertising on it? Does your business even benefit from advertising there if you really think about it? Are you just buying some ads shooting arrows with a blindfold on? Probably.

Maybe if you are a web based business that appeals to more than a few local segments like posting solar powered house numbers next to a page about solar energy sure. IS it really that targeted? Read?: "Is Facebook Advertising For You?".

Facebook's Preparation For The IPO

If you are a true Entrepreneur that wants to cash in big time and get a giant influx of cash to blow the doors open you likely are likely dream of an Initial Public Offering (IPO) one day. This isn't a sure thing by any stretch, and certainly requires a lot of work and goal setting to make sure that day comes.

Facebook is a pretty good example of what the right steps to take are for sure. So before you try to take your website all the way take a look at how Facebook got to be a trade commodity.

Time Management and the Serial Entrepreneur

These days it is more and more likely that entrepreneurs like yourself have their hands in more than one pot. Personally, I do a lot of things to make money now and finding a balance of getting them done on time, or spending time on my personal addictions like finishing the books in my ebook readers to be a bit overwhelming at times. I may not have to run 10 businesses, but I do spend an awful lot of time working for and with a number of different companies and do a lot of independent contractor work which must be organized to get it all done.

As an entrepreneur, or an independent contractor you are free to work on things at your own discretion most of the time. You may have deadlines, but typically your schedule can be resolved on your own and you must make sure you have the time to get every contract done, or every assignment in on time.

So...when you find some helpful tips on managing your time from other entrepreneurs it can only help you find more time for yourself probably right? Here are 5 serial entrepreneurs that are offering tips on managing your time and your life.

NEW YEARS EVE PARTY AT MY PLACE

The Author of this post is Solomon Dejesus

Before the holidays, we switched our television service because we got some great dish deals. My favorite thing about having satellite tv is the music channels. It is sort of like the Pandora stations, but I think that the music mixes are better. Every time that I have a party, I just switch on one of the stations. I think that my favorite is the eighties mix for the parties. I also turn on the country station when I’m cleaning the house alone. I hate to admit it because all of my friends tease me about it, but I love country music! This new years, I had a party at my house. We usually go out or go to concerts, but I wanted to keep it low key. We had four other couples come over, we all just cooked out, listened to music, and drank champagne. It was the first New Year’s Day that I woke up without a headache! We had a great time, I definitely wouldn’t mind keeping it low key again next year!
